About the opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Transport Driver to join our team, based out of our Beverley Warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting stock from our It’s Fresh Warehouse in Pooraka to various Drakes Supermarkets stores across the Adelaide metropolitan area.
Working as part of our logistics team, you will ensure stock is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with scheduled delivery times, while maintaining high standards of safety, vehicle care, and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include:
6. Wrapping and loading stock onto trucks efficiently and in line with operational requirements
7. Delivering stock between warehouse and production facilities according to a set schedule
8. Ensuring the daily and weekly maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles
9. Adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures
10. Undertaking any other duties as reasonably requested
Skills and experience required for the role:
11. Current and valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence
12. Minimum 2 years’ experience driving HR vehicles, ideally in a multi-drop environment
13. Current Forklift license is preferred
14. Good knowledge of the Adelaide metropolitan area
15. Strong customer service and communication skills
16. Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
17. Proactive and reliable approach to work
18. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and responsibly
19. Clean and safe driving record
