We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has good communication skills and is able to work well within a team. Bright Sparks is a Trustee-led day nursery which cares for two- to four- year old's. We are keen to employ someone who is passionate about children's play, learning, communication and development. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who have a full and relevant Level Three qualification in childcare in Early Years settings.
The successful candidate will know how to initiate activities which engage children, developing their understanding and use of language, and will be skilled in positive behaviour management of very young children. He or she will take a shared responsibility for the welfare and learning of all children at the nursery. The candidate will take on a shared Key Person role for a group of these children, which will involve recording observations on Tapestry.
The role is for part-time or full time hours. Full time hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday Permanent contract, term time. We pay five weeks' holiday pay. Our rates of pay are linked to the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage so will vary according to age of applicant.
