Location: Stopford House, Civic Complex & homeworking; Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in office).
Base pay range: Based on skills and experience.

Your Role
Stockport Council is hiring a Project Manager Construction Lead to work within the Estate and Asset Management Team. The role involves leading project delivery across a large programme of capital developments covering the Education, Leisure, Corporate and Commercial portfolio.
You will work alongside an internal team of Architects, Engineers, Building Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors, and will lead externally commissioned consultant teams.
About You
You are a chartered project manager with a minimum of five years’ experience leading construction projects in the UK. You have managed multi‑disciplinary teams, engaged stakeholders, and possess a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. You demonstrate strong partnership skills and build effective relationships to ensure timely project delivery.
