Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Engineering: Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
Cloud Infrastructure: Design and manage cloud-native architectures primarily on AWS or Azure using IaC tooling including Terraform, CloudFormation.
Automation & Scripting: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
Containerisation & Orchestration: Develop and maintain containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), ensuring high availability, observability, and secure configuration.
Platform Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or CloudWatch to support SRE best practices.
Security & Compliance: Embed security into pipelines and infrastructure, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, least-privilege architecture, and identity management (e.g., IAM, RBAC).
Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Work closely with software engineers, testers, cloud architects, and product teams to support agile delivery, improve developer experience, and enable continuous improvement.
Incident Response & Operational Support: Provide operational support for platform services, contributing to incident management, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
