Freight Operations Account Manager Feltham
£Our client is a market leader in UK & EU gateway logistics solutions, located in Feltham. They have a rich history, trading since 1999. They offer specialist bespoke solutions for the international freight forwarding industry, e-commerce business, global courier & postal systems.
This role sits within an Operational department working as part of a varied and diverse operation logistics team.
Client Account Management
Act as the main contact for assigned accounts, building strong, long-term relationships.
Ensure timely delivery of solutions and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Drive growth within existing accounts and resolve escalations to prevent issues.
Billing & Commercial Operations
Prepare accurate invoices, maintain billing records, and support month-end reporting.
Trade & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with freight forwarders and third parties for quotes and timely shipments.
Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
Market & Brand Development
Partner with marketing to maintain brand visibility and monitor market trends.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in freight forwarding or international logistics.
Proven track record in account management or a similar client-facing role.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Flexibility to travel to designated markets as required.
Previous involvement in export projects and familiarity with export operations.
Leadership experience managing projects or small teams.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software tools.
Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin) are a plus for supporting Asia and Latin American markets.
