About us
We are accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, working with Wicstun Vet Group to extend our services. Our team of vets and nurses are available 24/7, with experienced professionals committed to current veterinary practices. Our nurses are passionate about pet comfort, and our friendly reception team aims to make every visit stress-free.
The practice was founded in 1954 by John Crooks, inspired by 'James Herriot'. Over time, we evolved from a traditional mixed practice to a high-quality first opinion service with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities. In 2021, we opened a second surgery in Kingswood to serve a wider community.
At Linnaeus, we support the physical and mental health of our associates, with Mental Health First Aiders and a confidential Employee Assistance Programme.
