We are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Assistant at Ettington Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
About the role
* The role involves preparing food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are maintained.
* Maintain a good knowledge of food menu items and availability, including main ingredients, allergens and preparation style.
* Provide accurate and enticing product descriptions with recommendations based on guest preferences.
* Work enthusiastically alongside team members to achieve departmental goals.
* Maintain a basic knowledge of the wine list and stock availability.
* Understand the basic principles of food and wine matching, different grape varieties and predominant flavours.
* Be inspired, have fun and be part of the Hand Picked Team.
About You
* Current base knowledge and experience of food and beverage within a quality driven hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
* Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.
* Flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
* High level of emotional intelligence to anticipate guest needs and ensure a Hand Picked experience.
* Ability to deliver guest experience standards that are high-quality, personalised and memorable, encouraging guests to return.
Benefits & Requirements
* A competitive salary package of £13.82 per hour plus a share of service charge.
* Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 32 hours per week (may vary).
