Automation QA Engineer - Hybrid – London – up to £60,000
An innovative company in the fintech industry is seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join their growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital products that serve a large and diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications.
* Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to enhance testability and strengthen automation coverage.
* Review and analyse test results, reporting issues and driving improvements in product quality. • Contribute to the design of automation frameworks and explore new technologies to improve efficiency.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, helping define and validate acceptance criteria.
* Log, track, and retest defects with precision and attention to detail.
* Mentor team members in QA best practices and automation strategies.
* Keep up to date with QA tools, trends, and methodologies.
Technical Skills needed:
* 5+ years of experience in automation testing and software quality assurance.
* Strong proficiency in Playwright or Selenium
* Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks
* Competency in API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and SQL
* Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, or TestRail.
Desirable skills:
* Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Expertise in mobile automation (Appium) and front-end web testing.
* Knowledge of performance testing tools like K6 or JMeter.
