Overview
Resource Manager - 15 month FTC - London. EY is a global leader in Transaction and Advisory services, Assurance and Tax. The Resource Manager will manage day to day resourcing for Transaction Diligence and work alongside a team of other Resourcing professionals. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering operational excellence and supporting the business strategy, agility, and mobility of our people.
The successful candidate will report into the Senior Resource Lead and work closely with the senior leadership team and internal functions. The role requires resilience, the ability to build trust with stakeholders quickly, strong people skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise Engagement Leads and Partners on resourcing solutions, ensuring projects are resourced with the right people and skills, delivering an exceptional people experience.
* Understand skill sets and proactively deploy individuals to support areas that enhance professional development and capability.
* Provide insight on resourcing performance metrics (utilisation, diversity, revenue, margin, pricing, and people insights).
* Drive collaborative resource solutions with wider parts of EY.
* Bring best practice thinking to the wider Resourcing function.
* Identify opportunities to enhance team performance and development goals.
* Work with the Senior Resource Lead and Operations to optimise service delivery.
* Review business performance, discuss trends, and implement actions to improve results.
* Proactively monitor pipeline with local stakeholders.
* Foster an inclusive culture within the team and engagements.
* Monitor wellbeing and performance of teams in partnership with leadership.
