Recovery coach team operational team lead

Offer description

The Recovery Coach Team (RCT) is a time-limited service available to individuals aged 17 and over. The team provides a supportive step-down pathway for patients transitioning from secondary care services back into the community.

Using a combination of coaching techniques delivered by Recovery Coaches and lived experience offered by Peer Support Workers, the service delivers a mix of one-to-one and group sessions designed to help patients reconnect with and engage in their communities.

As the RCT is set for an exciting relaunch, we are seeking a motivated and passionate clinician with a strong commitment to recovery-focused practice to coordinate, support, and drive this team forward.

This can be a hybrid role however some in person attendance is essential.

It is highly recommended to contact Emma Taylor for an informal discussion prior to applying.

This post will be pivotal in the relaunching of this service which has previously been closed whilst a refocus and direction has been co-created.

This post will work in close conjunction with the Trust Wide Recovery and Inclusion Lead to provide daily line management and support of the Recovery Coach Team members whilst creating sustainable and embedded pathways within other services.

The post holder will be responsible for weekly allocation of referrals whilst balancing clinical, service and team members capacity needs.

The post holder will also be responsible for creating an ongoing wok plan/timetable for the team that will support effective use of resources and allow increased visibility of the team and it's support available.

To achieve our goal, we look to recruit high-calibre candidates who share our vision and values. As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage applications from all sectors of the community, particularly from under-represented groups including people with long term conditions and members of our ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ communities.

Please be advised we reserve the right to close adverts earlier than the closing date should we receive sufficient applications.

Regrettably, we cannot offer sponsorship for all our job roles. If you apply for a role that we cannot offer sponsorship for, unfortunately, your application form will be rejected from the process.
