SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: NG2 Sneinton - Easily reached from Nottingham City Centre, Mapperley, West Bridgford, and Carlton
Day Rate: £105 - 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Long Term Futures are looking for a resilient and passionate SEMH TA to join a welcoming KS2 team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with behaviour support experience who is committed to helping pupils build confidence and make progress.
Your Role Will Include
* Delivering 1:1 and small group SEMH support in KS2
* Supporting de-escalation and regulation strategies when challenges arise
* Building positive relationships through mentoring and daily check-ins
* Assisting teachers with routines, transitions, and behaviour plans
* Contributing to personalised support strategies (training provided)
We\'re Looking For
* Experience working with children with SEMH needs in a school or youth setting
* Strong communication skills and the ability to encourage resilience
* A calm, adaptable, and proactive approach
* Knowledge of behaviour support strategies (Team Teach or MAPA desirable)
* A genuine passion for inclusive education
