As a health care support worker in theatre, you will provide excellent patient care and support for registrants and the wider theatre team.
Glangwili Hospital has 9 theatres in the main building, offering care in Orthopaedic trauma, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, ENT, Urology, and Emergency theatres.
Ideally, you will have achieved the Agored Cymru Perioperative Support Level 3 qualification or be working towards it.
You will assist the registrant and perioperative team in the 'circulating' role, with knowledge of the specialties at Glangwili General Hospital, providing patient care according to health board policies.
Participate as a team member, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to work within strict timeframes. Note that this role involves out-of-hours and on-call commitments.
Proficiency in Welsh is desirable; applications from English and Welsh speakers are equally welcome.
