Head of Manufacturing

Elevation Recruitment are excited to be exclusively supporting a bespoke manufacturer of leisure equipment who are looking for a proactive and experienced Head of Manufacturing to oversee their factory operations. Working across fibreglass moulding, finishing, and assembly, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products are delivered on time, to spec, and with a strong focus on continuous improvement, safety and quality.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a background in project based, bespoke / custom / made-to-order production and a solid track record of managing teams and improving processes on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities of the Head of Manufacturing include:
1. Accountability for all of the Production based Operations and Supervisors, and their actions
2. Ensuring all orders are delivered in time, in full, and against the expected quality standards
3. Monitor production output and implement improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and rework
4. Ensure adherence to health & safety procedures, with a particular focus on resin handling, ventilation, PPE, and COSHH regulations
5. Drive quality control throughout the process, working to maintain high product standards
