🕒 Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday (with additional wrap-around care shifts on a rota basis)
💰 Salary: Dependant on qualifications and experience

About the Role We are hiring on behalf of a lovely pre-school setting in Scarborough, who are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Years Key Worker to join their team. This role focuses on supporting children aged 3–4 years, providing high-quality care and education in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Act as a Key Worker for a small group of children, observing and recording their progress in line with the EYFS.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
Promote children’s personal, social, emotional, and communication skills.
Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing are always a top priority.
Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to planning, meetings, and training.
Support daily routines including meal times, toileting, and outdoor play.What We’re Looking For Essential:
✅ Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare (or equivalent)
✅ Experience working with children aged 3–4 in an early years setting
✅ Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A caring, nurturing, and patient approach
✅ Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Desirable:
⭐ Paediatric First Aid qualification
⭐ Experience with SEN or supporting additional needs
⭐ Familiarity with online learning journals (e.g., Tapestry, Famly)
