Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer II are:
1. Create and implement quality plans that align with project timelines and contractual obligations.
2. Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and military specifications to ensure compliance with both customer and government standards.
3. Oversee Non-Conformance (NC) reports and coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) processes to ensure timely resolution and adherence to key project milestones.
4. Drive root cause investigations and develop effective corrective and preventive actions to address production challenges.
5. Partner with cross-functional teams, offering guidance on quality-related matters and supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) efforts.
6. Act as a key point of contact between MRB and leadership, delivering quality performance updates to ensure objectives for cost, schedule, and product quality are consistently achieved.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Quality Engineer II will have the following:
7. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
8. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in quality assurance or quality engineering roles.
9. Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management standards.
10. Proficient in interpreting complex technical drawings and government/military specifications.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, results-driven approach.
12. Collaborative team player with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
