About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Employee Relations Manager to join one of our NHS clients. This is a key specialist role, providing expert ER advice, strategic support, and high-quality case management.
Lead on complex and highly sensitive cases, support the development of ER policies, and champion best-practice employee relations.

Employee Relations Manager - Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations Leadership
5. Act as a subject matter expert for complex and highly complex ER cases.
6. Provide specialist, autonomous advice to managers at all levels
7. Quality-check ER cases and documentation to ensure legal and procedural compliance
Case Management & Data
8. Oversee ER case management systems, KPIs and reporting dashboards
9. Analyse ER trends, identify themes (including culture and EDI), and present insights to senior teams
10. Lead development of ER Standard Operating Procedures
Line Management
11. Line-manage: Senior ER Advisor, ER Advisor and Associate ER Advisor
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
12. Significant ER management experience in a complex NHS or healthcare setting
13. Strong knowledge of employment law and ER best practice
14. Experience handling high-risk ET, MHPS or multifaceted ER cases
15. Experience developing ER policies and reviewing legal compliance
16. Skilled in case data analysis, KPI reporting and dashboard use
17. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
18. Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience advising senior leaders
19. CIPD Chartered Member (or equivalent)
