Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead Communications and Public Affairs for the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners. The successful candidate will lead APCC Communications and Public Affairs functions at a time of far-reaching police sector reform, developing and delivering proactive communications and public affairs strategies to raise awareness and visibility of the role of PCCs and their equivalents and demonstrate the need for robust police governance and oversight in new policing structures. This is a rewarding and demanding role. You will lead the APCC Communications and Public Affairs team through a time of significant transformation and change; manage projects and suppliers; deliver a variety of high quality and professional communications products and services for members; forge strong and effective relationships with senior stakeholders across policing and criminal justice, Parliament, and the media; and act as a member of the APCC Senior Management Team.
