Water Efficiency Technician
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for a Water Efficiency Technician.
Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for conducting Home Water Efficiency Checks at customers properties on behalf of our client.
* Conduct water efficiency surveys by engaging customers with behavioural questions and provide advice on water usage along with recommendations for potential savings.
* Measure water flow rates accurately.
* Inspect for and repair minor leaks.
* Install water‑saving devices and products.
* Use handheld digital tools to record water flow measurements and report findings accurately.
* Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to escalate issues or arrange further works where required.
* Maintain and manage stock of water‑saving equipment and ensure correct usage and documentation.
* Always adhere to Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
* Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in plumbing required.
* Strong communication skills.
* At least one year of customer‑facing experience, as all visits involve customer appointments.
* A manual driving licence.
* Able to obtain and pass a clean DBS check.
* National water hygiene card is preferable (training provided for those without).
