Location: Portsmouth. Employment type: Permanent, Full-Time; hours: 37 per week. Salary: £46,049 – £56,535 per annum.
Job description
The role involves modernising the university’s approach to pay, reward and benefits using better data, insight and sector benchmarking to strengthen the employee value proposition. It will play a critical role in shaping and delivering that work.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Deputy Director of HR (Reward and Recognition) to support the implementation and operational management of key reward, recognition and benefits schemes.
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure effective, high‑quality and value‑for‑money services.
* Lead the communication and promotion of the University’s reward and benefits offer, helping colleagues understand and engage with the employee value proposition.
* Ensure the approach remains competitive and aligned with organisational priorities.
Working pattern
The position is full‑time, but we may consider job share for two viable part‑time candidates or a 4‑day week (30 hours per week) for an exceptional individual. A mix of on‑site work in Portsmouth and hybrid working is available.
