You will manage a small finance function and work closely with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership team to deliver accurate financial reporting, aid strategic planning & decision making, improve operational efficiency to minimise costs and support business growth.
To be considered you will be an established Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Head of Finance now. But, will have the potential to progress to Finance Director over the next 18-24 months once established in the business.
Role
• Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring that ledgers reflect all financial transactions and that financial statements comply with accounting standards.
• Establish and enforce internal controls to prevent errors and fraud, safeguarding the company's assets and financial data.
• Ensure the company adheres to all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Analyse financial data, providing insights that inform strategic decisions related to budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecast future financial performance.
• Identify and assess financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues related to cash flow, investments, and market fluctuations.
• Identify areas where costs can be reduced and efficiencies gained, optimising resource allocation and improving profitability.
• Streamline accounting processes, such as month-end closing, accounts payable, and payroll, ensuring smooth operations.
• Implement and manage financial technology solutions to further enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide financial expertise helps guide the company's overall strategic direction, supporting sustainable growth and expansion.
• Navigate challenges and develop strategies for recovery.
The Candidate
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
• Excellent Stakeholder management skills and ability to colberate with Sales, Commercial & Technical teams.
• Proven track record of process implementation and improvement.
• Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Versatile with the ability to add value in growing and changing environment.
