Technical Manager?? Location: BodminWe're looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead food safety, quality, and compliance at site level, ensuring the highest standards are met across all operations.As part of the senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering the site's technical strategy while managing customer relationships and leading a high-performing technical team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver the site technical strategy aligned to business goalsOwn site food safety, quality, and integrity standardsManage and develop HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, traceability and QMS systemsDrive audit readiness, compliance, and continuous improvementLead internal and external audits, ensuring robust close-out of actionsManage customer relationships and technical interfacesDeliver KPI reporting, trend analysis, and improvement plansOversee hygiene, pest control, and specifications processesDevelop, coach, and lead the technical teamEssential CriteriaProven experience in a Technical/Quality leadership role within FMCGStrong knowledge of food safety legislation and industry standardsExperience managing audits, customer visits, and quality systemsWorking knowledge of HACCP, TACCP and VACCPStrong leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementIT literacy (including Excel)Desirable CriteriaDegree in Food Science or related disciplineLevel 4 Food Safety and HACCPInternal auditing qualificationExperience with environmental systems (e.g. IPPC)Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and cost controlAwareness of ethical trading (e.g.
