Are you a passionate and creative Art Teacher who can inspire students to think create, and express themselves through art?
Here at Teaching Personnel we are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Art Teacher to join a welcoming partner secondary school in Erdington. This role is perfect for someone who can bring art to life in the classroom, nurture creativity and help students develop their skills and confidence.
About the role:
In this role, you’ll be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students, delivering engaging lessons across a range of artistic disciplines. From traditional drawing and painting to digital media and sculpture, you’ll be encouraging students to explore their creativity while meeting curriculum objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons that challenge and motivate students
* Planning creative schemes of work and preparing high-quality resources
* Encouraging self-expression while building students’ technical skills
* Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and tracking attainment
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued
* Supporting and guiding students with GCSE Art coursework and exam preparation
Role Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary school
* Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines
* A creative and innovative approach to lesson planning and delivery
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and build strong relationships with students
* A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one before starting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
