Senior Quantity Surveyor – Transmission & Distribution | Glasgow
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a commercial lead role on high-profile Transmission & Distribution projects in and around Glasgow.
This is not a back-office QS role. This is a chance to sit at the heart of delivery — driving cost, value, risk and commercial performance across complex power infrastructure works.

What you’ll be doing
• Leading cost and value management across live projects
• Owning CVRs, forecasting, reporting and client valuations
• Managing change, compensation events and commercial risk
• Driving cash flow, subcontract management and final accounts
• Supporting project teams with strong commercial governance
• Mentoring junior commercial staff and raising performance standards
What we’re looking for
• Proven Senior QS experience in infrastructure, power, utilities or heavy civils
• Strong NEC3 / NEC4 contract administration background
• Commercially astute, confident and delivery-focused
• Able to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
• Degree/HND qualified (chartered or working towards preferred)
• Power T&D experience highly desirable
