I’m currently working with a well‑established consumer tech business that’s growing its mobile engineering team and looking to add a Lead Android Developer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building high‑quality mobile products at scale, leading technical direction, and mentoring engineers within a modern engineering environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the development and maintenance of native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
* Driving technical decisions, architecture, and engineering best practices
* Working across the full SDLC
* Collaborating closely with Product and Design teams
* Mentoring and supporting other developers within the team
* Helping shape the future mobile strategy and delivery roadmap
What they’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a Lead or Senior‑level role
* Experience building scalable mobile applications
* Strong understanding of modern Android architecture
* Comfortable working in agile environments
* Passion for clean, maintainable code and team collaboration
Nice to have:
* Exposure to cross‑platform development
