As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Chemical Regulatory Manager to join our Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) team.
This team provides critical operational support to ensure continued compliance with chemical regulations across the EMEA region enabling our products to be placed on the market in line with regulatory requirements and also empowering our wider organisation with knowledge to support this. You will lead the development and implementation of chemical compliance mechanisms, ensuring effective systems, processes, and standards are in place to support the business and supporting a team to help you deliver this.

* Degree-qualified in a scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science) or equivalent experience
* Strong working knowledge of chemical regulations (e.g. REACH/UK REACH, CLP/GHS, SDS, PCN/Annex VIII)
* Proven experience in regulatory compliance within the chemical or related industry
* Experience managing or leading teams and delivering through others
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, both internally and externally
* Intellectually curious, with a strong continuous improvement mindset, bringing new ways of thinking to optimise processes, systems and regulatory problem solving
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory topics into clear business guidance
* Experience with SAP EHS or similar regulatory/document management systems is desirable
What You’ll Be Doing
Be part of a function that sits at the heart of enabling Croda’s innovation and commercial success, where your expertise will directly shape how we operate in complex regulatory environments.
* Leading regional chemical regulatory compliance, ensuring products meet all relevant regulatory requirements
* Monitoring regulatory developments (e.g. REACH, CLP/GHS) and translating them into clear business positions and actions
* Representing Croda in industry forums, trade associations, and external regulatory discussions
* Acting as a technical authority, providing expert guidance to internal stakeholders and customers
* Establishing and maintaining robust compliance standards, processes, and systems
* Managing and continuously improving regulatory systems to ensure they remain fit for purpose
* Leading and developing a team of Product Safety Advisors, ensuring delivery to key milestones and supporting their development
* Driving collaboration across global PSRA teams to ensure consistency and alignment in compliance approaches
