Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Wellbeing Service Manager to lead and develop services across the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) locality. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Band 7 Therapist or registered Nurse with a passion for service improvement, clinical leadership, and delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care. The Wellbeing Service Manager will lead and manage the Wellbeing service across Bath and North East Somerset (BanES), Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW), ensuring effective delivery within Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) and alignment with local system priorities. The successful candidate will be based at the site closest to their home within the BSW area, with travel across the locality as required.
Main Responsibilities
* Be responsible and accountable for the successful implementation, delivery, and development of the Bath & North East Somerset, Wiltshire and Swindon Integrated Neighbourhood Team Wellbeing Service, ensuring robust, effective and efficient delivery of all service KPIs, and achieving contractual and financial targets.
* Use best practice and innovation to achieve high quality, excellent patient/client services while working in line with BanES, Swindon and Wiltshire system priorities and the Fit for the Future: 10 Year Health Plan for England.
Essential Qualifications
* Relevant professional registration and, if required, education towards a post‑graduate level or equivalent knowledge and experience.
* Understanding and experience of population health management.
* Understanding of behaviour change methodologies and personalised care models.
* Highly motivated, committed, solution‑focused, and able to work well under ambiguity.
* Experience using strong leadership skills to support service development and transformation.
* Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across NHS, Local Authority and VCSE sectors.
* Proven ability to plan and complete work plans in challenging situations.
* Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary and multi‑agency teams.
* Aware of recent national and professional guidance and evidence related to the Fit for the Future: 10 Year Health Plan for England.
* Ability to confidently assess and prioritise using guidelines and protocols, and support colleagues in this.
* Confidence in professionally challenging situations.
* Evidence of recent CPD to validate professional practice.
* Demonstrated adaptable communication skills.
* Ability to develop sustainable professional relationships both internally and externally.
