Junior Sous Chef – Noel's Arms Public House, Melton Mowbray, United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations within a 50‑cover pub kitchen.
* Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, using classic and modern cooking techniques.
* Maintain an immaculate and safe working area, ensuring compliance with food hygiene regulations and allergen controls.
* Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, supporting them as part of a small, cohesive team.
* Contribute ideas and techniques that align with the pub’s ethos of using the best quality, fresh produce.
Qualifications
* Excellent attention to detail and a solid background in similar kitchen environments.
* Experience working in establishments listed in the Michelin Guide or Estrella Gastropub list.
* Up‑to‑date food hygiene qualifications and a sound understanding of allergen management.
* Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a small team.
