Role: Accountant (Practice)

The Opportunity:
An established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their growing team.
This role offers an excellent mix of client interaction, technical accounting work, and professional development within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in line with UK GAAP.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients.
• Manage and strengthen client relationships.
• Support audit preparation and liaise with clients to gather information.
• Ensure compliance with tax and accounting legislation.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and colleagues to deliver exceptional client service.
Requirements:
• Recognised accounting qualification (or working towards).
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles.
• Competent in Iris (preferred), Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of payroll and CT600 preparation advantageous.
• Audit experience preferred.
• Full right to work in the UK.
