Job Description:
We are seeking a negotiator responsible for negotiating and executing various master trading documentation on behalf of our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiating financial services agreements, particularly Master Agreements such as ISDA, CSA, GMRA, and GMSLA, along with ancillary agreements like CDEA, MRRA, and FX Compensation Agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Agreement Negotiation: Draft, negotiate, obtain internal approvals, and execute new arrangements with counterparties using either counterparty paper or our clients' agreement templates.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with the client's legal, business, credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure negotiations are approved by relevant stakeholders.
3. Data Management: Track and update negotiations on our client portal, ensuring management information is current and reconciles with the client's internal systems.
4. Training and Mentoring: Use your expertise to train and mentor junior team members, supporting their development in negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* At least 4 years of experience negotiating financial legal agreements, with exposure to ISDA, CSA, GMRA, and GMSLA.
* Proven negotiation skills with counterparties in financial services, such as investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds.
* Knowledge of derivatives, securities lending, and repo markets.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* A law degree or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.

* Familiarity with legal tech and innovative solutions for streamlining negotiations.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
