Optimal has partnered with one of our key clients exclusively and are seeking a proactive and relationship‑driven Account Manager to nurture, grow, and retain a portfolio of key clients within a dynamic and fast‑moving sector. This role focuses on strengthening long‑term partnerships, maximising customer value, and ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying opportunities for account expansion.
Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
* Identify opportunities to grow revenue within accounts through cross‑sell, upsell, and strategic account planning.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as their primary point of contact.
* Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions and influence product or service enhancements.
* Monitor account performance, forecasting growth and proactively addressing risks or issues.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams - including operations, product, and leadership - to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen client relationships and brand presence.
* Maintain accurate account records, activity logs, and forecasting data within Salesforce.
* Ensure compliance with company policies in line with ISO and regulatory standards.
Skills and Attributes
* Proven experience in account management, customer success, or relationship‑focused commercial roles.
* Strong ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and maintain long‑term partnerships.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging at all levels.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
* Highly organised, able to prioritise workload effectively and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
* Self‑motivated, collaborative, and committed to delivering an outstanding client experience.
