Role Overview:
As Bar Staff at Bank de León, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drinks and exceptional customer service in a vibrant, Caribbean-inspired bar environment. You will help create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere while maintaining professional standards of service, presentation, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Guest Experience:
* Greet customers warmly and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere.
* Take orders accurately and serve drinks promptly.
* Engage with guests and build positive relationships.
* Handle customer queries or complaints professionally.
Drinks Preparation & Service:
* Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
* Follow recipes and presentation standards for consistency.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the drinks menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
* Upsell drinks, specials, and promotions to enhance the customer experience.
Bar Operations:
* Ensure the bar is fully stocked with glassware, garnishes, and ingredients.
* Restock shelves and refrigerators as needed.
* Keep the bar clean, organised, and ready for service.
* Operate the till, handle cash and card payments, and provide accurate change.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
* Follow all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Adhere to licensing laws and responsible alcohol service.
* Check identification for age verification when required.
* Monitor customer intoxication levels and act appropriately.
Teamwork & Communication:
* Work closely with bar staff, floor staff, and management.
* Support colleagues during busy periods.
* Communicate effectively to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Skills & Requirements:
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible (evenings and weekends required).
Desirable:
* Previous bar or hospitality experience.
