£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Hours: 6 – Sundays only
Location: Stockport, Warren St Shop

We’re seeking a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and take responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
You’ll be surrounded by dedicated people committed to beating cancer.
What will I be doing?
1. Overseeing the running of the shop on Sundays, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and supporting a diverse team of volunteers.
2. Assisting the shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
3. Reviewing and processing donated goods and new stock.
4. Generating creative ideas to increase income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
5. Using customer service skills to ensure customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
6. Maintaining shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
7. Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
