If so, then we need you! Reed is currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work across Primary Schools in Scunthorpe and surrounding, to support children with additional needs. The schools need people who a ready to commit to making an impact on the lives of every child they work with, you make a difference in every school.
What you'll be doing:
1. Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism spectrum conditions (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
2. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
3. Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation.
4. Support pupils during lessons, break times, and transitions, ensuring their safety and engagement.
5. Promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem in pupils through positive reinforcement and consistent routines.
