Disability Coach - Liverpool

About the opportunity: 
We are looking for a Disability Coach to join the team to deliver a range of various sports specific and multisport sessions for disabled children and adults at various locations across Merseyside. 
 
Other key responsibilities will include:   
 * To plan and deliver sessions as part of the Physical Education programe within SEN schools that have bought into our model 
 * To coordinate and support our disability teams attending local, regional, national and international competitive fixtures and competitive opportunities for disabled people 
 * To work on our half term sessions, delivering fun, inclusive sessions as part of our partnership with local authorities 
 * To develop and implement effective monitoring and evaluation processes to capture data and case studies for reports in line with funding requirements 
 * Ensuring all relevant quality standards and safeguarding requirements are met in all sessions 
 * To have an understanding of equality/diversity and social inclusion in the delivery of disability coaching sessions 
 
Safeguarding    
 * To understand the Club’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines.     
 * To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment 
 * Monitor potential safeguarding risks and work with the Safeguarding Officer of EITC, and the Head of Safeguarding for Everton Football Club to promote good practice throughout the programme 
Who we are looking for: We are looking for an individual who can deliver inclusive sessions that are engaging with fun, laughter and enjoyment for the participants. 
With experience of delivering schools and after school’s clubs with disabled children of all ages and abilities, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience:     
 * Level 2 Multi-sport qualification 
 * Level 2 governing body coaching award 
 * Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft office applications 
 * Specific knowledge of various impairments and disability groups 
This position will be offered on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with the role being based across our Everton in the Community campus, Schools and other locations deemed suitable by the Youth Inclusion Manager.
