We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our newly opened Bushy Heath clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, friendly team in a brand-new, fully refurbished practice. You’ll be working alongside our new branch partner and long-standing branch partner Reena, with support from the wider team at our busy sister clinic in Pinner. Our Bushy Heath clinic is well equipped and offers a varied caseload, giving you the chance to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week with 1 in 6 weekends based at Watford 24 hour, but we’re open to discussing flexible or part-time options. Role Accountabilities Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. In this role you will: Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients. Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity. Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities. Deliver patient monitoring and care. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team. If relevant: Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care. Dispense and check medication. Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards. Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice. Your Skills and Experience R C VS registered Veterinary Nurse. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficien cy. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
