About The Role
Working within the Land Department to identify, promote and assist in securing suitable sites for both short and longer term development by the Company.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Organise, attend and present at pre application discussion meetings
* Assist D.O.P in working up and driving planning applications through the planning system
* Assist in submitting, monitoring and discharging planning conditions
* Prepare submit and monitor appeals
* Liaise with members of the development team to coordinate planning information with Technical / Estimating and Buying departments
* Attend project meetings.
* Attend planning committee meetings
* Organise and attend public exhibitions
* Support land team in providing expert knowledge on current government legislation and planning policy / advice
* Research and analyse data to help inform strategic developments
* Produce clear, well researched and structured pieces of work.
About You
Knowledge
• Graduate with suitable qualifications for RTPI membership
• High level of proficiency in various computer packages including MS Office Products - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Knowledge of current and future government legislation
