Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a diverse range of pizza, pasta, and grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
* Assist in meal preparation during busy periods, supporting the overall kitchen operations.
* Monitor stock levels and notify management of supplies needed for smooth kitchen functioning.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
* Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and uphold the restaurant's reputation for quality.
Requirements
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant setting.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
* Strong skills in meal preparation, with particular expertise in pizza, pasta, and grilled dishes.
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
