Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Machine Shop Manager for their facility in Rotherham.
This Machine Shop Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and lead a dynamic production team, ensure efficient production processes and maintain high-quality standards.
Key duties of the Machine Shop Manager include:
* Cultivate a team-first culture that promotes both high morale and exceptional performance.
* Developing and implementing a comprehensive training, development, and skills enhancement plan for the team
* Oversee daily production operations
* Develop and implement production schedules and plan
* Monitor production performance and implement improvements
The Machine Shop Manager will have the following skills/experience:
* A strong background working with CNC machine - turning milling etc,
* Previous experience in a Machine Shop Manager role, with a proven track record in people management and process improvement
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
