A leading Top 50 Accountancy Firm in Central London is recruiting an ACCA Qualified Accounts Senior / Newly Qualified Accountant / Business Services Senior to join its growing Business Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant seeking portfolio ownership, hybrid working, strong progression prospects and exposure to a broad client base.
Accounts Senior - Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts (FRS 102 and some IFRS)
Managing your own client portfolio
Preparation of management accounts
VAT returns and VAT compliance
Client relationship management
Liaising directly with directors and business owners
Supporting and reviewing junior staff where appropriate
Requirements:
ACCA qualified (or equivalent qualification)
Experience working in a UK accountancy practice firm
Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 (IFRS desirable)
Experience preparing statutory accounts independently
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Experience managing or assisting with a client portfolio
