Environment Manager – SRS Transformation (Ellucian Banner SaaS)

Overview
We’re looking for an Environment Manager to coordinate and optimise a limited set of SaaS environments across a complex Student Records System transformation.
This is a planning-heavy, stakeholder-facing role where success depends on strong organisation, clear scheduling and the ability to manage competing demands across multiple teams within a vendor-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and coordinate all environments (test, UAT, production)
* Plan and manage environment usage, schedules and refresh cycles
* Act as the central point for environment coordination, conflicts and prioritisation
* Work with the vendor to manage refreshes, clones and configuration changes
* Align environments across integrated systems (e.g. finance, HR, identity, reporting)
* Support testing, training and cutover with stable, ready environments
* Manage dependencies, risks and environment-related issues
* Communicate environment changes, constraints and downtime clearly
* Provide clear, forward-looking reporting to stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
* Experience managing SaaS environments within vendor-controlled models
* Strong planning and scheduling across multiple environments (test/UAT/prod)
* Experience working in complex, multi-system programmes
* Good understanding of integrations, APIs and system dependencies
* Proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and teams
Highly desirable:
* Higher Education or similar complex environments
* Student records / student information systems
* Ellucian Banner (preferred) or Tribal SITS
* Experience supporting testing and go-live readiness
