An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join our medical student administrative team supporting education and training of medical students across Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust.
The post holder will be part of a dynamic team ensuring complex programmes are planned, coordinated, and matched against strategic targets for students' placements in all clinical areas. The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience working in medical education in an administrative role and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should also have the ability to effectively plan ahead, meet deadlines and prioritise workload for self and others.
The post holder will be based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, although they must also be willing to work on both Winchester and Basingstoke sites. This is a part-time post. If you want a challenging and rewarding job, where you can make a difference, this is for you.

Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive administrative function for planning & implementation of all medical student programmes at HHFT, including Final Year students, 4th Year students, 3rd Year students & BM4 students on Clinical Placements.
To work collaboratively within the me dical administrative team to ensure continuity of service and cover when required for BM4 / BM5 Programmes across sites.
To assist with summative examinations at Southampton University for all medical students’ examinations.
To attend steering group and strategic planning meetings at both HHFT & Southampton University medical school and contribute actively to the development of educational programmes.
To manage unplanned changes in schedules/ timetables/ training at short notice, problem-solving, and provide first response and referral of medical students, expert patients and/or facilitators in need of assistance.To provide a named point of contact for medical students, medical tutors, and hospital clinicians throughout the working day at HHFT
To work with colleagues and assist with organisation of delivery of skills training for medical students at HHFT including booking of venues, setting up rooms, clinical equipment and audio-visual equipment.
