About Anodyne Care

Anodyne Care is a digital healthcare company exclusively focused on personalised treatment for patients with chronic and cancer-related pain. We operate in the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

Our patients are fully assessed and choose us because they seek better accessibility, continuity, empathy, and higher medical quality than what is typically available in the public system. Through our digital platform, patients can book appointments, upload their medical records, other materials, and attend consultations online. As a doctor, you will use Electronic Medical Record systems and AI-based tools, enabling you to focus on your patients and their treatment.

Anodyne Care was founded by experienced professionals from clinical practice, pharmaceuticals, law, and public administration.

Our goal is clear: to become a European leader in the treatment of chronic and cancer-related pain – improving accessibility and medical quality for patients.

About the Position

At Anodyne Care, we are looking for doctors interested in a flexible consultancy-based collaboration. You will be responsible for medical assessments, treatment, and follow-up of patients suffering from chronic and cancer-related pain.

Our approach is built on a multimodal, holistic model, combining medical treatments with complementary interventions to create a comprehensive and individualised treatment plan. These complementary elements include psychosocial support and physiotherapy/exercise, delivered through both partner solutions and our own in-house services.

Qualifications

We Are Looking for

• A doctor with full unlimited GMC Registration and Licence to practise independently.

• Experience in pain management, palliative care, or relevant specialisation is an advantage. If you are currently in training within, for example, general practice, anesthesiology, rheumatology, or similar fields, this opportunity may be particularly interesting for you.

• At least three years of clinical experience.

• An interest in a multimodal approach to pain treatment.

• Digital competence and confidence in conducting online consultations.

• Empathy, structure, and motivation to support patients with complex needs.

We Offer

• A fee-based collaboration with payment per patient case.

• Freedom to decide how much you wish to work – we require a minimum of 10 hours per month to ensure sufficient continuity for your patients.

• Strong focus on flexibility and the ability to adapt work around your own schedule.

• The freedom to live anywhere, as the work is primarily remote in a professional context.

• Collaboration within an engaged, interdisciplinary Nordic and English-speaking team.

• An online introduction program to understanding and treating chronic pain patients

• Meaningful work where you make a real difference for patients every day, while earning a valuable supplement to your regular income.

Application Deadline

We continuously welcome new partners and hold interviews on an ongoing basis. Collaboration begins as soon as we find the right match.

Please send your application and CV to Helena Christensen at hch@anodynecare.com.

If you would like to learn more about the collaboration, you are welcome to send a text message to Consultant Anaesthetist and Pain Medicine Ayman Eissa at +44 77 66 30 43 48 to arrange an informal conversation.
