Our client operates across the full spectrum of the wealth management value chain, providing services that include financial planning, investment management, platform, trading, settlement, and custody. Its modular and flexible service model allows clients to tailor their business strategies as needed. The group is experiencing rapid growth, driven by strategic acquisitions within the UK wealth and asset management sectors.

Due to expanding rapidly through strategic acquisitions, we are recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner. You will provide a technical service to a team of advisers in order to provide clients with a positive experience, report writing support including the production of suitability reports based on client needs and assisting the Paraplanning team to maintain up to date report templates and models.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the provision of fully compliant, potentially complex reports which will include analysis, research and product recommendations for presentation to clients.

2. Assist with research for Asset Allocation on clients existing portfolios, quantifying and analysing clients existing investments.

3. Assist with obtaining valuations, quotations and completing supporting application documentation.

4. Provide all advice within a strict ethical and compliance framework under guidance from the Compliance Manager and internal policy and procedures.

5. Manage own workload position and provide updates to line manager.

6. Commit to continuous personal development and retain supporting records.

7. To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.

8. Adhere to Consumer Duty outcomes

Job Requirements:

9. Minimum level a Level 4 Diploma Qualified Paraplanner ideally with 2+ years’ experience within a similar role

10. Experience of writing and compiling very technical Suitability Reports, coupled with good solid Research experience

11. Career focused Paraplanner

12. Experience with pension switching and transfer products is highly beneficial

13. Cashflow forecasting experience is advantageous

14. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

15. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

16. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
