We are currently recruiting for a Main Contractor based in Solihull, specialising in Commercial Build Projects.
Document Controller roles and responsibilities
* Manage and maintain all project documentation across a range of construction build projects.
* Control the distribution, filing, and tracking of drawings, RFIs, technical submissions, and subcontractor documentation.
* Work closely with site teams, design teams, and project managers to ensure all project information is accurate and up to date.
* Ensure document control procedures are followed in line with company and project requirements.
* Support the wider project delivery team with administrative and reporting duties where required.
Document Controller requirements
* Previous experience working as a Document Controller for a Main Contractor within the construction industry.
* Experience supporting construction build projects is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience using document management systems and Microsoft Office packages.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within project teams.
Document Controller benefits
* Salary between £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
* Hybrid working arrangement - 4 days in the Solihull office with Fridays working from home.
