POSITION INFORMATION
The Part-time Chantecaille Sales Consultant, working 4 days a week, will serve as the brand ambassador at the John Lewis, Oxford Street counter. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, meeting individual and team sales goals, maintaining the store environment, and assisting with administrative and housekeeping duties.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE
- Achieve sales targets set by the company and communicated by the Counter Manager, focusing on items per transaction, average sale value, and sales mix.
- Deliver excellent service to ensure a memorable customer experience.
EVENTS
- Execute events according to guidelines provided by the Counter Manager, Account Executive, or Head Office.
STOCK MANAGEMENT
- Assist with daily stock rotation, replenishment, and hygiene supplies, maintaining appropriate levels.
- Keep drawers and storage areas tidy, report discrepancies or issues to the Counter Manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT MAINTENANCE
- Participate in cleaning display units, tools, and testers throughout the day, with thorough cleaning at night.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, replace damaged or finished products with authorization.
- Ensure merchandise placement and condition are maintained.
- Report store maintenance, health and safety issues, hazards, or accidents.
TEAMWORK
- Complete tasks assigned by the Counter Manager, including administrative duties.
- Collaborate with team members and management for efficient store operation.
- Foster good relationships with colleagues and provide excellent internal customer service.
ADMINISTRATION
- Assist with inventory counts and complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused beauty environment.
- Advanced knowledge of beauty products.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Flexible availability including early/late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Experience in luxury beauty and department stores is desirable but not essential.
- Beauty Therapy Level 3 qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
