The Role
As the lead for the Marketing function, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate our company's profile and business activities.
Working closely with leadership, you'll oversee the planning and execution of promotional events, campaigns, and thought-leadership opportunities.
Your role will also involve monitoring performance, producing valuable online content, and conducting market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
Additionally, you'll manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and act as the organisation's representative to build strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, media, and potential clients.
The role is hybrid and we need someone available to be in London two days a week with semi-irregular trips to a midlands-based office too.
Skills and Experience
* A multi-faceted, knowledgeable and innovative marketer with experience in customer engagement from acquisition to retention
* Analytical in nature, you enjoy working with a focus on the marketing funnel
* You’ve managed the marketing function for a similar business, working closely with leadership to define goals, creating relevant marketing strategies and delivering intelligent, effective marketing campaigns to promote the company
* You have an in-depth knowledge of SaaS, preferably targeting enterprises (e.g. IT services, telecommunications, cyber security)
* You have experience working in a similar-sized firm, and being part of the transformation of offline sales to a digital-first growth approach

* You’re an excellent coordinator and team player - someone who will enjoy building strong working relationships across the organisation and being a catalyst for action
* You’re autonomous; a self-starter who enjoys setting their own agenda whilst keeping a focus on key business goals
* You’re an individual who makes things happen and has the courage to have an opinion - we need you to consult, advise and make recommendations, not to be a passenger and let things happen around you
* Someone accountable and proactive who’d relish being part of a small marketing team and being hands-on in formulating and delivering campaigns
