Lead Cyber Security Vulnerability Manager

Our Lead Cyber Security Vulnerability Manager will shape our vulnerability strategy, lead a team of analysts, and drive remediation across digital services. Working closely with security and operational teams, you will reduce risk, ensure compliance, and build a culture of cyber resilience.

Pay up to £89,995, plus 28.9% employer pension contributions, hybrid working with 60% home working, flexible hours, and a great work‑life balance.


Responsibilities

* Shape and deliver the vulnerability management strategy, covering people, processes and technology.
* Lead a team of Vulnerability Analysts, guiding investigations into cyber risks and driving remediation actions across multiple digital functions.
* Collaborate with operational and security teams to develop mitigation strategies and reduce exposure to threats.
* Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
* Contribute to security awareness across the department, building a culture of resilience and readiness.


Qualifications

* Multi‑Platform Cybersecurity – broad platform knowledge with comprehensive cybersecurity assessments.
* Vulnerability Management Leadership – deep understanding of vulnerability management within a wider cybersecurity capability.
* Cloud Security Expertise – extensive experience with cloud‑hosted services, applying core security principles and technologies.
* Threat Intelligence & Assessment – advanced grasp of threat intelligence, turning insight into actionable remediation.
* Complex Infrastructure Experience – hands‑on experience managing vulnerability as part of a broader cybersecurity strategy across complex IT infrastructures.
* Certifications – CISSP, CISM, or MSc Information Security (or equivalent).
