Our client, an innovative engineering and automation business based near Luton are on the hunt for an organised and technically capable Project Manager.
Role and Responsibilities - Project Manager
In this role, your key responsibility is to manage the delivery of automation projects from order handover through to installation and acceptance.
Other responsibilities include:
* Managing project scope, schedules, resources and risk
* Acting as the main point of contact for customers
* Coordinating internal engineering teams and external suppliers
* Translating customer requirements into technical delivery plans
* Preparing and maintaining project documentation and change control
* Supporting proposal and quotation activity with technical input
Experience or Qualifications - Project Manager
* Proven experience managing automation or technically complex engineering projects
* Background in industrial automation, controls or manufacturing systems
* Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Exposure to inspection, optical or imaging-based technologies
* Experience working within manufacturing environments
* Formal project management training or certification
