We are excited to be recruiting for a Hospitality and Retail Head Chef to work with us at wonderful B&I site that has recently been refurbished with a brand new retail and hospitality suite.About the site: This B&I site provides lunch for 400-500 people every day. We provide hospitality events weekly and are looking to grow these on site.Location: EC2V 5DDRate of pay: £50,000 - £55,000 per annumWorking pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week - 7am to 3.30pmKey Responsibilities:This position involves managing a team of 7 including senior sous chef, sous chef, chef de parties and kitchen porters To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customersTo ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectationsTo be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standardOverall responsibility for managing the kitchen teamProvide feedback and coaching on performanceTo ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene trainingOur Ideal Candidate:We are looking for an ambitious and experienced head chef who has worked within B&I contract catering or hotels with banqueting Previous fine dining/Michelin experienceWill have great communication skillsStrong leadership abilityPassion for creating innovative retail and hospitality offerings on siteWhat's in it for you?Working with Vacherin has its perks!
