Do you have a background working in financial modelling, transaction services or advisory? This uniquely positioned role would suit someone keen to develop their investment analysis and financial modelling experience, working for a boutique professional services business in their dedicated family office team.
Please note this is NOT an investment or front office role and would suit someone who wants something more middle office orientated - likely an accountant who's moved into something more commercial and analytical rather than a pure in and out deals person.
Responsibilities will include:
* Lead end-to-end financial analysis and consolidated reporting for complex multi-entity family office structures.
* Own monthly valuation and performance reports, integrating data from multiple asset classes: private equity, structured products, listed securities, real estate, and alternatives.
* Perform detailed investment due diligence and support strategic asset allocation decisions.
* Engage directly with family office principals, supporting decision-making through clear, insightful reporting.
* Develop financial models for portfolio performance, company valuations, bond analysis, and acquisition opportunities.
* Drive innovation by contributing to the development of a next-gen tech platform for family office analytics in partnership with a leading fintech provider.
* Act as project manager for investment reviews and analysis workstreams, coordinating with banks, legal advisors, accountants, and investment managers.
Your background:
* Excellent academics and relevant professional qualifications - ACA/CA, CFA or equivalent
* At least 5 to 6 years’ experience in financial modelling and/or transaction services and/or advisory - likely gained in a large global professional services or consulting firm or in industry within a family office or investment manager
* Advanced Excel and modelling skills; VBA or database skills a plus.
* Strong understanding of investment structures, trusts, SPVs, and lending/credit arrangements.
* Clear communicator with a strong commercial mindset – able to connect data to decisions.
* Experience working with UHNW clients or multi-generational family offices is an advantage.
Salary in the region of £80,000 to £90,000 base plus bonus.
Open to candidates based within a commutable distance of London with a very flexible approach to hybrid working.
UK experience is essential and visa sponsorship is not on offer.
